Until 1999, Dr. Jürgen Em was a member of the Managing
Board of the Confederation of German Employer Organizations (BDA) in Cologne. He is Vice
President of the governing body of the Dachverbandes
Auslandsösterreicher-Weltbundes (the worldwide association of Austrian
associations abroad), President of the Austrian Association in Bonn, Honorary President of the Economic
Affairs Committee of Germany and President of the Federal Senate for Economic
Affairs and Technology.
Due to his extraordinary connections to German and
Austrian trade associations and companies, he supports the law firm in all aspects of German-Austrian trade matters.
Dr. Em is the recipient of the Grand Honor Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria, the Federal Honor Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria, the Gold Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria as well as an honorary member of the World organization of Austrians Abroad and is a Senator for the Federal Senate for Economic Affairs and Technology of the Federal Association for Economic Affairs, Education & Labor.
