Dr. Mathias Reif
is, along with Klaus Brisch, the managing partner of the Cologne office of BridgehouseLaw.
The main focus of his consulting practice lies in the
areas M&A, corporate law, distribution law, especially franchise law and
commercial agents law, private equity und venture capital, legal representation
and arbitrational proceedings, national and international contract law and GTC,
data protection and data security law.
Dr. Mathias Reif lived and worked in various
foreign countries before joining T-Mobile International AG, first as Senior
Legal Counsel, then as Vice President Corporate Finance. Thus, Dr. Reif
predominantly advises internationally. He advises cross-border M&A
transactions as well as companies on the building-up or on the expansion of
their distribution systems, especially by designing international and national franchising
and agency agreements.
As trained Data Protection Officer (Datenschutzbeauftragter), Dr. Reif also
advises on all legal and commercial aspects of data protection and data
security law.
Dr. Mathias Reif
regularly lectures on seminars about private equity and M&A as well
as in
the Telecommunications Executive Circle (TEC) in Frankfurt / Main.
Furthermore, between 2002 and 2007 he
regularly
lectured about data protection law at the Munich
chamber of commerce and industry (Industrie- und Handelskammer - IHK)
